The tragedy in Orlando over the weekend prompted us to turn to our shelves for possible sources of solace, guidance, and/or hope. As noted above, the Social Sciences room contains materials on philosophy, religion, psychology, self-help and social groups, so we have a lot to choose from. Here are a few of the things that caught our eye - these books were pulled from 152.41-.46, 170-171, 176, 297.086 & 306.766 (all references, of course, to the Dewey Decimal System), but there's more where that came from. Please come see us and explore for yourself - we'd love your recommendations as well. Peace.
